About Dave.
Hi, I’m David (or Dave) and I created Topload Brands to keep my mind engaged during a time when my body has faced a few limitations.
This space has become a meaningful outlet for reflecting on the challenges marketers and brand builders encounter in today’s fast-paced, competitive environment.
Drawing on my unconventional background, I aim to make complex scenarios a little easier to navigate for a wider audience.

My Mission.
Over the years, I’ve worked as Consultant for around 15 years as well as Business Development Manager for two companies in a highly competitive industry. I’ve faced plenty of hurdles and surprisingly, building some of my fondest memories along the way.
My business skills are largely self-taught. I was tossed into the deep end and had to learn quickly. Along the way, I completed courses like Buker Business Excellence and The Three Pillars of TPM, as well as other training in auditing and problem solving. If you do something long enough, you’ll often master it. If you enjoy it, you won’t just learn, you’ll innovate. That’s where I believe the best ideas are born.
I’m not a fan of cookie-cutter marketing. I favour tailored strategies grounded in solid insights. My hope is that the articles here provide fresh perspectives for newcomers and perhaps even for seasoned professionals.
Topload Brands is only a part-time endeavour though, shaped by my health and available time. If just one piece I write helps someone navigate a tough day a little easier, then it’s all been worth it.
